Architects:
Quik-Build LLC

Adam Kalkin, the principal of Quik-Build LLC, has been recognized nationally for his innovative work with container architecture. Dwell has called him “a truly original thinker. His work is industrial grit mixed with poetic touches.” CNN has recognized Mr. Kalkin’s work as the place “where architecture meets performance art.” And the New York Times has predicted that “design’s boldface names may be upstaged by Adam Kalkin, an architect and artist.” Mr. Kalkin’s previous container designs range from custom-built luxury homes to prefabricated modular affordable housing to emergency housing that can be shipped quickly and easily around the world.

Developer:
Almost 4th & 4th LLC

Most developers see their buildings as commodities to be sold off for profit. The principals of Almost 4th & 4th see things a bit differently: we are building City Center Lofts because that is where we intend to live ourselves. City Center Lofts is our dream home in downtown Salt Lake City, built by the best architects in the country to make a lasting contribution to the community. Environmentally conscious, open floorplans, lots of sunlight, great views, and just a hop, skip, and a jump from the best city life that Salt Lake has to offer—that is our future home, and we invite you to make it yours, too.
